Following up his 2017 debut release, Vienna-based producer Parterre drops another 4-track EP, remaining faithful to his unique stretch of techno-driven drum beats and melodic synth lines, counteracted by leftfield sound design and awkwardly detailed textures. However, he leaves his habitual four on the floor paths in the second half of the EP by reminiscing breakbeat-influenced downtempo rhythms for the first time.
